Artisan Roast Coffee Roasters's story

Artisan Roast has roasted specialty coffee in Edinburgh since 2007, when it opened its first café, which became a training ground for baristas and a discovery hub for coffee drinkers that helped shape Scotland's specialty coffee scene. The roastery is built around relationships with producers across more than twenty coffee growing countries, aiming for fair, sustainable prices and transparency toward farm gate prices, and taking direction from farmers on harvesting and processing methods. Today Artisan Roast runs five cafés and has expanded beyond Scotland with a branch in Chile, where it roasts and supplies coffee to South America.
